Natalia Lafourcade is a contemporary songwriter, singer and producer from the Mexican state of Veracruz. She began writing songs at an early age and released her first solo album in 2002. Her most popular songs include “En el 2000,” “Un derecho de nacimiento,” “Hasta la Raíz,” “Nunca es suficiente,” “Tú sí sabes quererme” and “De todas las flores.” Lafourcade also interprets songs by iconic Latin American composers. She has collaborated as arranger, producer and performer with artists such as Juan Gabriel, Omara Portuondo, Jorge Drexler, Rubén Blades and Devendra Banhart.
