Educating teachers is an essential component of any effort designed to increase the artistic literacy of young people. We offer Professional Development Opportunities for MDCPS teachers, grades K-12, in the fields of music, dance and theater throughout the school year. The Arsht Center also coordinates efforts with local arts organizations and MDCPS to go into the classroom with teaching artists to use the arts as a springboard for learning.
