Our mission is to create meaningful community-building experiences for the citizens of Miami-Dade County and South Florida through active learning and live theatrical experiences. Each year, we offer more than 100 culturally diverse and inclusive events serving more than 80,000 people of all ages — many enhanced by the Arsht Center’s relationship with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, local teaching artists, arts organizations and resident companies.
The Arsht Center’s signature education programs include Kitty Hawk and I am Me (part of our Learning through the Arts initiative), AileyCamp Miami, Jazz Roots: Sound Check, Accessing the Arts, Camp Arsht, Arsht Goes to School, and the Kennedy Center National Partners in Education – Teaching Training Program.
